Crawford County arrests the Johnson County Sheriff on drug and firearms-related crimes
Little Rock, Arkansas – Johnson County Sheriff Jimmy Stephens was taken into custody just one week after a successful cocaine seizure that brought an undercover investigation that lasted several months to a close.
On Saturday, Stephens was detained in Crawford County on suspicion of possessing both drugs and a firearm.
Sheriff Jimmy Stephens was taken into custody, according to ASP troops, according to ASP spokesman Bill Sadler.
Sadler claims that during a traffic stop, the troopers discovered Stephens to be in possession of both drugs and firearms. He is now accused of having the things in his possession at the same time.
