17-year-old drowned at Greer’s Ferry Lake
Cleburne County, Arkansas – On Sunday afternoon, a 17-year-old drowned at Greers Ferry Lake, officials with Cleburne County Search & Rescue confirmed.
Around 12:30 p.m., first responders were called to Damsite Park.
According to witnesses at the scene, the 17-year-old went under and did not resurface.
His body was recovered a short time later.
At this time, the name of the juvenile male has not been released pending notification of relatives.
