35th Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza at Treatment Homes in person
Little Rock, Arkansas – In the nation’s capital, Treatment Homes Inc. will hold its 35th Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza and Holiday Coloring Contest.
Gingerbread makers and young holiday artists will congregate at the Arkansas State Capitol on Sunday, December 11, to compete for the top prize.
Due to COVID-19, Treatment House has organized competitions virtually for the past two years.
The morning team of FOX16 took part in the competition on Thursday, the day before the registration and photo submission deadline of December 9. They decorated their own gingerbread houses.
People can vote for their favorites on the Treatment Homes, Inc. Facebook page from Friday, December 10 through Sunday, December 11. The Viewer’s Choice award will be given to the images that receive the most votes. At the Capitol event on December 11, the winners of the official judging competition and the Viewer’s Choice will be revealed.
A private nonprofit organization called Treatment Homes, Inc. offers therapeutic foster care to young people who are emotionally disturbed.
