8-year-old boy drowned in North Little Rock apartment pool on Sunday, authorities are investigating the case
North Little Rock, Arkansas – North Little Rock Police Department is investigating the Sunday’s case where one 8-year-old boy drowned in apartment pool.
According to the incident report, deputies were dispatched around 6 p.m. on Sunday to the 2000 block of Buffalo Trail following a 911 call in regards to a missing juvenile.
The family relatives said that the boy was last seen with his cousins in the pool area of the Sherwood Park Apartments.
Police immediately went to the pool area where they found the boy in the pool. He was pronounced dead at the scene. They notified his parents and took the body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
Based on witness statements and evidence recovered at the scene, police said the incident is being investigated as an accident.
