A body found in car submerged in river in Fulton County
Little Rock, Arkansas – On Tuesday evening, Fulton County deputies were investigating a body found along the Spring River.
According to police, at around 4:30 p.m., Chief Deputy Jake Smith, and his office responded to a report of a vehicle submerged at Cold Springs Access of the river.
In order to help investigators to find the vehicle, Mammoth Spring Fire Department brought a boat to the area.
According to Smith, a diver found the body under “unnatural circumstances” and called the death “suspicious,” but did not go into further detail.
In order to determine the manner and cause of death, the body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory.
