A man is accused of abusing a youngster sexually
Jonesboro, Arkansas – Jonesboro police claim that a man forced a youngster to perform a sexual act on him, and he is currently being held on a $75,000 cash-only bond.
The charge of second-degree sexual assault against 25-year-old Daviyon Allen Gordon was approved by Special Judge Barbara Halsey on Friday, December 27.
On December 11, the victim, who is under 14, told police about the alleged assault.
Gordon “forced [their] hand down on his privates” and forced [them] to perform a sex act, the victim told an Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division investigator, according to the affidavit.
According to court documents, “the victim then stated that Gordon tried to force [their] head down onto his privates, but [they] pulled away.” The victim then fled to another room and started sobbing.
According to the complaint, the child’s mother informed detectives that Gordon “conceded” when she questioned him about the alleged occurrence.
Gordon was taken into custody by police on December 24 and placed under detention at the Craighead County Detention Center.
Gordon must not speak to the victim or any of the witnesses if he is granted bond, according to Halsey. She also told him not to talk to any women younger than eighteen.
