North Little Rock, Arkansas – Born in 1919 in Holly Springs, Dallas County, Anna Lee Spearman’s life eventually brought her to the nation’s capital.

Spearman added, “I then traveled to Niagara Falls after leaving Little Rock.”

She had a son and a daughter after getting married and relocating to Buffalo, New York.

She is now reunited with her loved ones in the Natural State.

To wish her a happy birthday, family members from all over the nation even made video calls.
“Happy. Seeing every one of my family and friends makes me very happy, and even though a lot has happened, I always like seeing those that are here,” Spearman remarked.

She drove herself to church every Sunday until she was in her mid-90s, propelled by her faith, and she continues to get a ride today.

She has also always enjoyed cooking and volunteering. She sang in a quartet as well, and everyone made sure to perform for the matriarch of their family.

She has lived through the events in our history books for 106 years. Treat others the way you want to be treated, she advised.

“The most important thing you can do in life is to treat everyone with respect and to be happy, so try not to worry about anything,” Spearman advised.
