According to Church reports 9 A/C units were stolen
Jonesboro, Arkansas – The last few days have seen temperatures below freezing, and only thieves in Jonesboro have considered air conditioning.
Jonesboro police were notified by Refuge Church of the Assemblies of God, located at 1404 Stone St., that nine air conditioners had been stolen over the past month.
The units were worth at $63,000, according to the first incident report, which was submitted online by a church official.
The thefts are thought to have taken place between December 2 and January 2.
