After recommending a replacement bridge in Franklin County, ARDOT is now accepting public opinions

Little Rock, Arkansas – According to a release from the Arkansas Department of Transportation, a project is being developed to replace the Highway 23 bridge that spans the Mulberry River in Franklin County.

The U.S. Forest Service and the Federal Highway Administration have cooperated in the project.

Review access is now available for a draft Section 4(f) de minimis Evaluation that examines possible effects on the Mulberry River and other environmental clearances. Furthermore, an Environmental Assessment and Addendum were previously made available for public comment.

The project is open for public comments, which will be received from May 15 at 4:30 p.m. to Monday, June 17.

Forms for comments will be accessible later this afternoon. If any citizens would like to submit written statements or other exhibits, they can mail them to P.O. Box 2261, Little Rock, AR 72203-226, or send them by email to [email protected].
