After reportedly striking a teenager with a car, a woman was detained
Little Rock, Arkansas – A woman was taken into custody by the Benton Police Department on Friday night after it was reported that she tried to hit a teenager with her car.
Just after 6:45 p.m. on July 27, according to the police, they were called to a multi-teenage private property accident at Home Depot.
Police allege a woman tried to hit one of the teenagers with her car as they were interviewing those who were involved in the collision.
Following the incident, Daisha McCuien, 24, the driver of the vehicle, was taken into custody, according to the police.
Subsequently, she was accused of four counts of severe assault, battery, four counts of putting a minor’s welfare in danger, and reckless driving.
Since then, the victim has been taken to a hospital, where it is said that her condition is stable.
According to the Benton Police Department, this is still an open investigation.
