Alzheimer’s-afflicted man, 75, missing from Benton; Silver Alert issued

Little Rock, Arkansas – According to the Arkansas State Police, a Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 75-year-old man from Saline County.

Michael D. Connell has reportedly been missing since Monday at 3 p.m.

“He suffers from Alzheimers so may be confused/disoriented when approached,” Benton police said.

He was last seen at 15 Azalea Circle in Benton, close to Home Depot, the Cinemark Tinseltown Theater, and Highway 5 South.

Authorities speculated that he might be driving a red 2015 GMC Acadia. The number on the license plate is 255608.

Connell is described as a Caucasian male who weighs 180 pounds and is 5 feet 7 inches tall. He has brown eyes, a beard, and gray hair.

He wore a red jacket, brown slacks, blue shorts, a black veteran’s helmet, and spectacles when last seen.
