Arkansans respond to an increase in COVID-19 and flu cases
Little Rock, Arkansas – The flu season is here, and although Arkansas health authorities say the number of cases is increasing slowly, it is still rising.
Over the past three weeks, COVID-19 values have been in the upper 20s and 30s, according to a report from the Arkansas Department of Health.
According to Anne Pace, owner of Kavanaugh Pharmacy, the report’s figures are supported by the fact that medications are flying off the shelves.
Pace remarked, “We’re getting a lot of cough medicine.” “Possibly some steroids and antibiotics for secondary infections.”
According to the data, the state’s flu activity has increased by one point, but it is still at a minimum level.
In terms of COVID numbers, the state’s average weekly hospitalization rate for October is 37 patients.
Aiden Ewing talked about his earlier experiences with COVID-19 and its symptoms. He claimed to have a sore throat that made it difficult for him to speak and even caused him to exhibit symptoms of brain fog.
Pace advised anyone exhibiting symptoms to stay at home and stay away from other people.
