Arkansas Covid-19 daily report, June 2nd – 242 new cases

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Arkansas added 242 new Covid-19 cases in the latest June 2nd report.
According to ADH report, one more death was reported as a result of the virus. Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 5,835 deaths were reported.
Currently, 190 Covid-19 positive are treated in hospitals across the state, while the total number of cases statewide is 1,685.
Top counties reporting new cases:
- Pulaski – 37
- Benton – 21
- Saline – 18
Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Twitter said: “New cases are higher than this time last week, but our active cases are down by over 300. Our numbers continue to remain consistent with reports from the past few weeks, but we want new cases to decline even further,”
