Searcy, Arkansas – Shannon Turner will never forget the day she lost a loved one—November 10. Perry Wallingsford, her ex-husband and the father of their two children, was killed in a moped accident on Broadway Bridge in North Little Rock.

“He never met a stranger and was always smiling and happy,” Turner remarked.

Turner is now having difficulty burying him. She claims that Wallingsford deserved a dignified funeral, but it will cost thousands of dollars.

Turner stated, “Everyone has made an effort to contribute as much as they can, but we’re still not meeting our goals.”

Turner claimed that despite her difficulties, she still feels obligated to make funeral arrangements.

Turner remarked, “I just felt like it was my job as his friend as well as the mother of his children.”

She has a message for the man she lost too soon as she sorts everything out.

“I would simply tell him that I adore him and am incredibly proud of him if I could say anything to him. Turner added, “And I’ll make sure his boys know how much he loved them.”

According to Turner, you can make a direct donation to Cole Funeral Home in Kensett. For the arrangements, she also has a GoFundMe page.
