Arkansas reported 22 new Covid-19 deaths, 303 people are on ventilators setting all time high

Despite all the efforts, the situation with the Covid-19 spread across is getting worse with more people on ventilators and more people dying.
According to the latest Covid-19 daily report issued by the Arkansas Department of Health which is similar to last Sunday’s report, a total of 1,517 new cases were added in the Covid-19 statistics.
In the same report, 22 people lost the battle with the virus and were reported dead.
Since the start of the pandemic last March, 6,467 people died as a result of the virus, while 419,807 people were tested positive.
The number of active cases reached 25,735 which is 14 people more compared to Saturday’s report
There are 1,413 people hospitalized as a result of virus, which is a decrease for 39 since Saturday. The number of people on ventilators reached record high of 303, which is 12 more compared to the day before.
Counties with the most daily cases:
- Pulaski – 197
- Benton – 107
- Washington – 104
Gov. Asa Hutchinson said he is proud of the vaccination progress in the last few weeks and congratulates the school districts for preparing all the unnecessary measures to keep everyone safe at the schools.
