As the Delta variant surges across the country, Costco once again forced to limit purchase on some of their items

It was not that long when we stores were struggling with different types of items last year at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

People in panic were buying milk, water, toilet paper and many other everyday stuff like there was no tomorrow.

That forced the biggest supermarket chains like Walmart and Costco to limit the purchase of some goods in an effort to prevent shortage of some goods.

Recently, the same thing appears to happen once again.

According to the latest information provided by Costco, they decided once again to limit purchase on some of their items, the company said in a website announcement.

The reason is the same like last year, people started buying things like crazy as soon as the number of Covid-19 started to increase as a result of the Delta variant.

On its COVID updates section on its website, which was updated last Saturday, Costco said, “some warehouses may have temporary item limits on select items.”

The company didn’t specify for which items the limitations will apply, but it will surely apply for toilet paper, since we already tried to purchase via their online store and we were limited to only two packages.

The temporary limitation on products comes as the delta variant cases continue to surge through the U.S., which has reportedly caused Americans to panic-buying toilet paper again as they did at the beginning of the pandemic, according to USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.
