Candidates for lieutenant governor in Arkansas debate before the November elections

Little Rock, Arkansas – A debate between the three contenders for the position of lieutenant governor of Arkansas took place on Tuesday morning, and it was moderated by Arkansas PBS.

On the University of Central Arkansas campus, Republican candidate for attorney general Leslie Rutledge squared off against Democrats Kelly Krout and Frank Gilbert.

Steve Barnes served as the debate’s moderator, and questions came from Christina Munoz of Arkansas PBS and Natural State Update and evening anchor Brandon Evans of 40/29 News.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 8, and early voting for the general election starts on Monday, October 24.
