Central Arkansas celebrates 501 Fest
Little Rock, Arkansas – Rain on Saturday morning stopped just in time for 501 Fest to begin in downtown Little Rock.
For the occasion, the SOMA area was transformed into a temporary entertainment hub, complete with live music, a wide range of food, and handcrafted goods.
The purpose of the event, according to Mac Willis of the Young Fresh Clothing Company, is to unite people.
“The importance of an event such as 501 Fest is to bring everyone together like a family, like a big community so we hall can show each other love and support.”
501 Fest honors not only Little Rock but also the region around it.
A percentage of the earnings go to Creator’s Village, whose goal is to support Arkansas’s creative community with resources and other services.
