Christmas at the Arkansas Capitol
Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Department of Human Services attended the yearly ceremony alongside Senator Missy Irvin, Representative Charlene Fite, and others.
State legislators can connect with foster children and other juvenile programs during Christmas at the Capitol.
The occasion draws attention to the crucial work being done in the state in regard to child welfare.
Governor Asa Hutchinson, Senator Irvin, Representative Fite, and DHS Secretary Mark White all made brief remarks during the ceremony.
Christmas presents will be given by legislators to foster children and youngsters.
The media were welcome to attend and cover this event even though it wasn’t available to the general public.
