Little Rock, Arkansas – Christmas is in full swing, as seen not only by the neighborhoods that are lit up but also by the charity efforts of an Arkansas church.

On Saturday, the Central Baptist Church in Paragould made the decision to support the neighborhood.

As hundreds of people lined up in the streets to fill their gas tanks, congregation volunteers tended the petrol stations.

For more than two hours, the church pre-paid $25 for every pump.

“We serve the community in ways across the community and we know with inflation and all these things happening right now, this is a way to bless folks across this region,” said Breck Freeman who is the administrative pastor.

This is Central Baptist Church’s fourth gas giveaway. The congregation and volunteers provide the funding rather than the church’s budget.

More giveaways are forthcoming, according to Freeman, for anyone who missed their chance to fill up on free gas.
