Church in the area hosts a Back-to-School Bash
Jonesboro, Arkansas – On Saturday, August 3, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church hosted a back-to-school celebration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition to food and beverages, they provided school supplies and offered games and other activities that families could participate in before returning to school.
According to Youth Leader Darrell Pipes, it’s a great chance to get individuals ready for the upcoming academic year.
According to Pipes, it’s “a good chance to fellowship with the community and get everybody ready for back to school.”
“Go back out into the community and really get to know everyone.”
People were having a great time at the celebrations, and the house was full.
