Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson on Thursday announced that the county will continue its policy of requiring face masks in the Courthouse and other county buildings.

Robinson said in a memo to elected officials, department heads and to the general public that the mask policy will continue until further notice.

His announcement follows one on Wednesday from Pine Bluff Mayor Shirley Washington that the city will continue its mask policy in city buildings.

“Visitors are required to wear masks and advised to practice social distancing whenever possible by adhering to six feet of separation from other groups of people not traveling with them,” Robinson said in the announcement.
