Courses for obtaining a commercial drivers license available at Trumann College

Little Rock, Arkansas – In an effort to increase the number of truck drivers on the road, Trumann College will be offering classes for Commercial Driver’s License.
These are the first of their kind in the city and are offered by East Arkansas Community College.
Since Steel Creek, a significant expansion project, was announced, there has never been a greater need for truck drivers.
Major Jay Paul Woods said, “Anytime we can do something local where people don’t have to travel even as far as driving to Jonesboro it is great for us.”
The major continued by expressing his desire to discuss the idea of establishing a testing facility in the future with the Arkansas State Police.
