Covid-19 daily update July 2: Arkansas added just under 500 new cases

Pine Bluff, Arkansas (MDMH-Conway) – Arkansas Department of Health released the latest Covid-19 update on July 2.
According to the report, a total of 494 new cases have been reported in the last 24 across the state. Four people were reported dead for the same period of time.
The total number of active cases is 4,398, which is 199 from yesterday’s report.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases reached 350,579. The total number of deaths is 4,389.
338 people are hospitalized and 71 of them are on ventilators.
