Crews responded to paper mill fire in White Hall

White Hall, Arkansas – On Thursday afternoon, a fire occurred at a paper mill in White Hall.
The fire started around 12:14 p.m. with multiple fire departments including the Pine Bluff Fire Department responding to the Twin Rivers Paper Company located at 1701 Jefferson Parkway, according to investigators.
The fire was contained to an area where bundles of recycled paper were used for processing, investigators said.
According to firefighters, two additional brush fires then started up after embers were blown into a wooded area across the street from the paper mill.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
