Discussion about Governor Sanders’ first 100 days in office

Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders marked her first 100 days in office Wednesday, a time in which she’s racked up major legislative victories and overseen a recovery effort from one of Arkansas’s worst tornado outbreaks in years.

“This is not an easy journey,” the governor said. “As you have seen in many communities, the rebuilding and recovery process is a long road. And so while we are – I feel like – in a good place we still have a long way to go to make sure we’re addressing the needs of each Arkansan and each community that was impacted by the storm.”

Prior to the storm the governor was flying high, having signed every one of her policy priorities into law during the regular session of the Arkansas Legislature.

“We’re going to continue to look for things that we think better all Arkansans and I’m really proud of the way we were able to work with a number of different stakeholders on a lot of issues to get that done.”
