Due to a base exercise, Little Rock Air Force Base gates will close
Little Rock, Arkansas – Due to a regular exercise scheduled for May 6, the gates of Little Rock Air Force Base (LRAFB) will close.
Since the Little Rock Air Force Base regularly does security drills to hone readiness, there is no risk to public safety.
According to the LRAFB, both inbound and outbound traffic would be prohibited for up to three hours at the Vandenberg Drive and Arnold gates.
Certified contractual workers will be able to access the base through the commercial gate during the exercises.
The public shouldn’t be concerned; the LRAFB will notify the public via social media when the gates are scheduled to reopen.
