Due to high temperatures across Arkansas, multiple cooling sites open in Little Rock, these are the locations

Little Rock, Arkansas – As a result of the high temperatures across the state, multiple cooling centers were opened on Monday in Little Rock.
The centers will be opened until Friday and the places are designated centers for local who want to cool off. These spots are located in multiple locations across the city and will operate from morning to afternoon/evening. This is the list:
- Dunbar Community Center at 1001 West 16th Street from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Southwest Community Center at 6401 Baseline Road from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- East Little Rock Community Center at 2500 East 6th Street from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Stephens Community Center at 3720 West 18th Street from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- West Central Community Center at 4521 John Barrow Road from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Although these centers are temporarily, city officials announced they will monitor the situation in the upcoming period and if needed, they will reopen the sites.
The centers will stay open in prolonged periods of extreme heat and humidity.
