Every year, Hope House organizes a community picnic
Jonesboro, Arkansas – On Saturday, the Hope House held its second annual community picnic.
The purpose of the picnic was to feed them a hot lunch and foster camaraderie within the neighborhood.
Bradley Dillon and Adrian Everett, the two guys who organized this, claim that their goal was to assist those in need.
“We just wanted to bring the community together, especially the less fortunate that have food insecurities, and don’t know where there next meal is coming from,” Dillon said. “We wanted to at least for a day help take the burden off of them and have a good time for the kids and for the whole family. This is just about community fellowship.”
Attendees came from all throughout the town. People may enjoy a bouncy house, games, music from a DJ, and a variety of other activities. There was more than enough food for everyone.
According to Dillon, he and Everett intend to continue the event for many years to come.
