FEMA Administrator surveys tornado damage with officials
Little Rock, Arkansas – The devastation caused by the tornado that tore through Little Rock on Friday is being examined by Mayor Frank Scott Jr., Lieutenant Governor Leslie Rutledge, Attorney General Tim Griffin, and FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell.
Criswell considered the tales she had heard about such destruction.
According to Mayor Frank Scott Jr., there has been strong communication between the state and municipal governments in doing what is best for Arkansas residents. He and Governor Sanders visited regions of the wreckage.
According to Rutledge, Arkansans are tough. By telling the administrator that she would experience neighborly love in Wynne when she visited, she furthered her point.
Criswell concluded by discussing federal funding and said that insurance companies are the initial source of aid for people.
Individuals without insurance can sign up for assistance through FEMA.
