Fire at Mississippi County landfill impacts trash pick-up

Little Rock, Arkansas – The city of Blytheville said that it will postpone Friday’s regular garbage route until Monday, April 24, due to a fire at the county dump.

Several personnel were dispatched to the Mississippi County dump on Thursday, April 20 at roughly 4:24 p.m., according to the Osceola fire chief.

It took till 9:00 p.m. to put out the fire.

The city of Blytheville said that starting on Friday, April 28, dumpsters will be placed in a number of areas.
