Following a shootout with Conway police, the suspect detained
Little Rock, Arkansas – When the police arrived, they allegedly found a person inside a car threatening to kill themselves with a gun.
Police claim that throughout the course of the pursuit, during which the suspect allegedly injured a police officer, the suspect fled the area.
The person then got out of the car and started firing, and a cop returned fire.
The person was arrested and sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators from the Arkansas State Police have been called in.
According to department rules, the involved officer has been placed on paid administrative leave, according to the police.
