‘Friend’ of Paragould and veteran councilman passes away
Little Rock, Arkansas – A “friend” of the city of Paragould has passed away.
Randy Aden passed away on February 11th, when he was 64 years old.
He was one of the city councilmen with the longest service, having represented the interests of residents in Ward 3 for 27 years.
The city claimed that Aden used his voice rather than words to inspire people and was frequently acknowledged for his accomplishments, including being named grand marshal of their Christmas parade and most recently being nominated by the Arkansas Country Music Awards for steel guitar player of the year.
Aden’s visitation will take place at the Mitchell Funeral Home on February 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. The Collins Theater will host the funeral services on Wednesday, February 15, at 10 a.m.
