GasBuddy shows that the average price of gas in Little Rock keeps going down
Little Rock, Arkansas – In its most recent report, GasBuddy showed new average prices for gas in Little Rock and the rest of the state.
Based on a survey of 334 gas stations in Little Rock, the price of a gallon of gas has gone down by 11.0 cents in the last week.
Prices in Little Rock are 45.3 cents less than they were a month ago and 17.4 cents less than they were a year ago.
Sunday, the cheapest gas station in Little Rock cost $2.48 per gallon, while the most expensive cost $3.15 per gallon. This is a difference of 67.0 cents per gallon.

Shreveport: $2.60 per gallon, which is 12.1 cents less than last week’s price of $2.72 per gallon.
“Not only has the decline in gasoline prices lasted five straight weeks, with again every state seeing a weekly decline in its average, but average diesel prices have fallen in 49 states over the last week as well. The relief is saving Americans roughly $20 per fill-up compared to six months ago,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. “On the previously hard-hit West Coast, average prices have fallen nearly $2 per gallon since October. Fifteen states now have average gasoline prices of $2.99 or less, with several more to join this week. We remain on schedule to see the national average gas price fall below $3 by Christmas, with diesel set to fall 50 cents to $1 per gallon over the next six weeks or so. While the Keystone Pipeline shutdown has been getting some attention, motorists need not worry much about the oil-carrying pipeline for now. There is no expected impact to gasoline prices as of now.”
The average price of a gallon of gas across the country has gone down 14.4 cents in the last week, to $3.21. The national average is 56.5 cents per gallon less than it was a month ago and 11.0 cents per gallon less than it was a year ago, according to data collected by GasBuddy from more than 11 million weekly price reports from over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
Diesel costs $4.91 per gallon on average across the country, which is 14.9 cents less than it was a week ago.
