Governor Asa Hutchinson visits Cabot to award students’ performance and growth

Little Rock, Arkansas – On Friday, Gov. Asa Hutchinson presented five elementary schools in Cabot with financial awards related to their student’s performance and academic growth.
Among others, the governor visited Mountain Springs Elementary School where a schoolwide assembly was held to present their award totaling $47,300.
“It’s exciting to be among the students and see that they are being recognized for working hard,” Hutchinson said. “Also great to recognize the teachers and how hard they work and the dedication that they have for their students.”
The Arkansas School Recognition Program awarded the five elementary schools in the Cabot School District a total of $167,150.
The other four schools recognized were Magness Creek Elementary School, Stagecoach Elementary School, Ward Central Elementary School, and Westside Elementary School.
