Hispanic male pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting in North Little Rock

North Little Rock, Arkansas – An investigation has been opened by the North Little Rock police department into a gunshot that occurred on Friday night in the 4500 block of Pike Avenue.

The shooting resulted in the death of a teenager.

Investigators said that when officers arrived at the scene at 5:27 p.m., they were able to identify a male victim of a gunshot wound who was 17 years old inside the house.

According to the police, the victim was taken to a local hospital, but they were unable to recover from their injuries and passed away.

According to investigators, an investigation is underway.
