Hot Springs police officers use their yearly kids’ shopping event at Walmart to promote holiday cheer
Hot Springs, Arkansas – The period of time that spans from Thanksgiving to Christmas is characterized by a frenetic shopping spree, during which individuals rush out frantically to get the ideal presents and trinkets for their loved ones.
Earlier this week, the Hot Springs Police Department hosted its sixth annual “Shop with a Hot Springs Cop” event, which was a part of the seasonal shopping binge that was going on.
In order to commemorate the event, which took place at the Walmart located on Albert Pike, the Police Department uploaded a series of photographs to their Facebook page on Tuesday.
According to the police, they were able to go shopping with eighty youngsters who had been chosen by school counselors from the surrounding area.
They even shocked some adults by registering to pay for some or all of the expenses that the children wanted to attend.
