Immigrant Integration Fair in Little Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas – A nonprofit organization has started a one-year initiative to support immigrants in Arkansas.
The first Immigrant Integration Fair was hosted by Arkansas United at Plaza Frida on West 65th Street.
The aim, according to the organizers, is to compile legal, tax, and medical data in one place.
The expo featured about twenty local service providers and nonprofit organizations.
Arkansas United’s founding executive director, Mireya Reith, stated that the organization is eager to collaborate with others throughout the state in order to realize its full potential.
“This is just the first of more to come so we’re looking forward to working together across Arkansas to help all of us achieve our potential,” Reith said.
Arkansas United wants to host ten events in the upcoming year to help immigrants by offering essential services.
