Important notice: Benton Police Department’s phone lines are down, those in need to use alternative phone number

Little Rock, Arkansas – All of the Benton Police Department phone lines are down and those in need are advised to use alternative phone number if they need to get in touch with the police department.

According to a Twitter post by the Benton PD, a power outage at the department caused the issue, and currently all lines are out of service.

The problem occurred about 15 hours ago, but as of now, the phone lines are still down.

Those who need to contact the Benton PD’s Records Office, Chief’s Office, or Criminal Investigations Division should use the non-emergency dispatch number 501-778-1171.

At this time, it’s still unknown when the lines are going to be operational again, but once there is an update from the department, we will update the story.
