In two separate traffic stops, Arkansas troopers discovered over 200 pounds of marijuana
Blackwell, Arkansas – During the weekend of December 6-7, Arkansas State Police discovered over 200 pounds of drugs in two distinct traffic stops at the same location. On Friday, Dec. 6, at approximately 10:30 a.m., law enforcement officers detained Davian Blair, 31, from Oklahoma City, at the 101-mile marker due to a traffic infraction. During a search of the vehicle, authorities discovered 120 pounds of illegal marijuana, which was wrapped in clear plastic bags inside the car.
Blair has been taken into custody on serious charges related to possession with the aim of distribution. He has been taken into custody and placed in the Conway County Detention Center.
On December 7 at approximately 12:45 p.m., law enforcement officers halted a rented Jeep Grand Cherokee at the 101-mile marker in Conway County due to a traffic infraction. Authorities conducted a search of the SUV, resulting in the apprehension of two individuals from Virginia.
A 27-year-old driver from Petersburg, Willie Revish IV, along with 29-year-old passenger Amber Murphey from Chester, was taken into custody at the Conway County Detention Center. This followed the discovery by troopers of approximately 119 one-pound vacuum-sealed bags of illegal marijuana concealed in various duffle bags throughout the SUV.
Revish faces felony charges for possessing a controlled substance with intent to distribute, having drug paraphernalia, and utilizing someone else’s property to aid in committing a crime.
Murphey faces charges for felony possession of a controlled substance as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
