Investigation ongoing following a firearm discharge by a North Little Rock police
North Little Rock, Arkansas – Officers from the North Little Rock Police Department responded to a report of gunfire on Velvet Ridge Drive on the evening of October 15.
When the police came, they found numerous male individuals with weapons, and one of the policemen shot one of the subjects with his service weapon.
As per departmental protocol, the officer has been placed on administrative leave.
Officers detained the four individuals and removed many weapons from the scene.
No injuries were noted as a consequence of the gunfire, but one of the suspects is being treated for separate wounds.
Detectives have been dispatched to the area and are now gathering information and interviewing witnesses.
At this moment, neither the suspects’ nor the officers’ names have been made public.
