Jacksonville’s early-morning house fire claims one life
Jacksonville, Arkansas – One person died Tuesday in a house fire that started early in the morning, according to Jacksonville authorities.
At 5:41 a.m., Jacksonville police and fire personnel arrived at 2710 Northeastern Avenue to investigate a fire. Authorities claimed that when they got there, someone outside the house informed them that someone else was still inside.
According to authorities, the strong smoke made it impossible for cops to find the person inside the house when they tried to look for them.
Crews from the Jacksonville Fire Department were able to search the house and extinguish the fire when they got there. Tiffany Hibbs, 30, was discovered deceased within the house, according to officials.
Jacksonville police say there is currently no suspicion of foul play.
