Jonesboro man loses his life in a motorcycle accident
Lawrence County, Arkansas – An accident that occurred on Saturday evening resulted in the death of a guy from Jonesboro.
The Arkansas State Police arrived at the scene of the accident on State Highway 25 in Lawrence County at 4:39 p.m., as stated in the preliminary report of the collision.
In 2018, Christopher B. Gist, 68, from Jonesboro, was driving his Harley Davidson in the direction of northbound traffic while he was navigating a curve to his left. As a result of the collision with the culvert, the motorcycle was launched into the air and departed the east side of the street when it was struck.
Before coming to a complete stop, the front half of Gist’s motorcycle collided with a tree and rolled over onto its side following the collision.
Unfortunately, Gist did not make it through his injuries and was sent to a funeral home.
At the time of the collision, the traffic conditions on the road were dry and clear.
