Lane closures scheduled for Highway 351 in Jonesboro
Little Rock, Arkansas – Workers will start closing lanes of Old Greensboro Road on Highway 351 from Peachtree Avenue to the Craighead/Greene County Line.
ARDOT reports that as of tomorrow, operations will only take place on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
It is anticipated that the endeavor will last for over four weeks.
In addition to asphalt patching, some seven miles of Highway 351 will be leveled in the vicinity, barring any weather-related delays.
This will take place for approximately two weeks on weeknights from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The entire process of mending, leveling, and then applying the new asphalt will take around six weeks. Early September is when the project is expected to be finished.
Signage, traffic cones, and message boards will all be used to control traffic.
