LITFest brings events promoting women’s rights to the Little Rock calendar

Little Rock, Arkansas – October’s Little Rock festival’s lineup is getting bigger and better.

The addition of women empowerment events to LITFest’s current entertainment, arts, economic, and cultural programs were announced on Friday. The recently announced events will focus on wellness, entrepreneurship, and work-life balance for women.

The Leadership Foundation for Women will present a panel discussion at The Nest on October 7 at 11:30 a.m. about the importance of putting one’s health and wellness first. The Robinson Center will host a recording session for the relationship podcast “Dear Future Wifey” at 7 p.m. with nearby married and singles.

The Hall on West Ninth Street will host a fireside conversation on women’s entrepreneurship and wellness at 4:30 p.m. on October 8 with actress Tea Mowry and business executive Angel Beasley.

Although registration for the panel discussion on October 7 is not required, it is recommended.

Ashanti, a Grammy-winning musician, will perform in a concert, and there will be other activities all across the city from October 6 to October 9.
