Little Rock Downtown Food Truck Festival moving to Capital Avenue
Little Rock, Arkansas – This year’s Little Rock Downtown Food Truck Festival will take place at a new venue.
The festival is moving from Woodlane to Chester Street to Capitol Avenue on September 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to Little Rock city officials, the new location will provide more room for the anticipated throng, live music, and 60 food trucks. Additionally, officials mentioned that the move was undertaken with the intention of reviving the neighborhood.
“Capitol Avenue has been identified as a focus area of the Downtown Master Plan,” Downtown Little Rock Partnership Executive Director Gabe Holmstrom said. “Our hope is that bringing thousands of people together to the area will again spark new ideas and interest for one of our state’s most important streets.”
The Main Street Food Truck Festival, formerly known as the Little Rock Downtown Food Truck Festival, is celebrating its 13th year this year.
