Man sentenced to 7 years for trafficking methamphetamine
Hot Springs, Arkansas – A Hot Springs man was sentenced to 7 years in jail, according to state officials in Arkansas, for trafficking substantial amounts of methamphetamine in Garland County.
According to court records, officers with the 18th East Judicial Drug Task Force learned that Lee Kelly Cargile, 36, was trafficking methamphetamine in July 2019.
State officials reported that detectives made many controlled purchases of the substance from Cargile later that month.
Following testing, the methamphetamine was found to be 100% pure, according to state officials.
Cargile received a 7-year sentence in addition to 3 years of supervised release, according to state officials.
