North Little Rock will light the city’s Christmas tree
North Little Rock, Arkansas – The public is being invited by the city of North Little Rock to attend the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree.
Terry Hartwick, the mayor of North Little Rock, will attend the celebration with Girl Scouts on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Argenta Plaza.
Non-perishable food will be gathered by the Girl Scout Troop, the North Little Rock Kiwanis Club, and the First Assembly of God in North Little Rock for the community’s needy.
Other cities and groups in central Arkansas are preparing for the holidays in addition to lighting Christmas trees.
The BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade and the yearly Christmas lighting ceremony and fireworks display at the Arkansas State Capitol are a couple of the forthcoming activities.
Last weekend was the annual Holiday House fundraiser for the Junior League of Little Rock.
