On Saturday, Arkansas residents raced on the road as part of CARTI’s Tour de Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas – The 21st Tour de Rock was held on Saturday morning in the center region of Arkansas. The center Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute was the organization that hosted the event.
The annual cycling race began in North Little Rock, and participants could choose routes 25, 50, 62, or even 100 miles long.
The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Patient Assistance Program of CARTI, which offers complete support services to reduce difficulties in accessing treatment.
“Community events like Tour de Rock are significant in raising money for that and helping our patients get better access to care, and for better ease of care.” CARTI Radiation Oncology Medical Director Matt Hardee said.
At this morning’s event, there were approximately 700 persons who took part.
For its existence, the Tour de Rock has successfully raised more than two million dollars to support the goal of CARTI.
