One more Arkansas school district decided to extend the mask mandate, claiming the measure delivers the wanted results

One more Arkansas school district decided to extend the mask mandate in schools that mandates students and school workers to wear masks during their stay at the schools claiming the measure is delivering the wanted results.
According to the latest reports, the Beebe School District officials voted to extended the mandate for at least one month more.
Part of the problem is that anyone who is within six feet of someone who tests positive for COVID-19 must be quarantined if neither person is wearing a mask.
The school officials believe that this should be reduced to 3-feet.
According to the latest data provided by the school district last week, nine students tested positive on the virus on Monday, but additionally 25 more were sent in quarantine just because they were exposed.
School officials believe this is an issue for the students who are not able to attend the classes regularly and they are missing a lot of the teaching material while they are quarantined.
